My little bro loves this book! It's the only one he wants to read before going to bed.
My nephew couldn't put it down. He carries it wherever he goes and asks whomever he bumps into to read it for him. Love it!!
I loved that the author followed up "Loving Me" with a boy version. As an aunt of 2 boys I am glad that despite the media's image of our black boys there are still outlets for our black little boys to feel valued. I have gifted this book to my 2 nephews and also as Christmas stocking stuffers which is always a hit. I am a big believer in raising strong men so we don't have to repair broken boys. I cannot wait to see what the author does next.
Love this book. Purchased one for my little brother and he quickly memorized the whole book. He is so in love with this book. Love the beautiful, positive message delivered and would definitely recommend it. It is so important that our young black boys self esteems are built up positively at an early age, especially in today's society. I feel like Boy I Am Loving definitely does that.
